The Office of Information Technology (OIT) is hosting the third annual Technology Awareness Day on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at CU Anschutz Medical Campus.

Join us for the resource & vendor fair, door prizes and Tech Talk speakers during our open house format event.
This event provides an opportunity for faculty, staff and students to Get Connected! There are a myriad of technology offerings on campus. This resource and vendor fair allows you to interact with technology service experts about current and emerging technology options available to make your work more efficient and effective. *Food will be provided during lunch, while supplies last. Join us to:

     10am -- MOOCs | Deborah Keyek-Franssen 
Data generated by millions of learners is helping us understand how small changes to course design and learner communications can have a big impact on learner persistence. Deborah Keyek-Franssen, AVP for digital education and engagement at the University of Colorado System, will be:
·        giving an overview of MOOCs offered by the CU Denver, CU Anschutz Medical Campus, and University of Colorado at Colorado Springs
·        share some emerging, data-driven practices that encourage MOOC learners to persist in courses
     11:30 am -- Digital Strategy & Town Hall | AVC & CIO Russell J. Poole
Join Russ Poole, Chief Information Officer and Associate Vice Chancellor of the Office of Information Technology, for a Town Hall style address to the campus on September 30th at 11:30am* on CU Anschutz Medical Campus in the Ed2 Community Bridge. He will be covering:
·        Progress on the Governance Committees Strategic Priorities 
·        Defining Our Digital Strategy
·        Q&A from the audience
     1pm -- Cyber Threats & Info Sharing| Denver FBI Cyber Squad
      SSA Michael Bobbitt will share current Cyber Attacks
      trends, Tips on mitigating cyber threats and what the 
      Denver FBI Cyber Unit is doing to protect.
