University of Colorado Denver Downtown Campus is comprised of three commerical high-rise properties owned and operated by the university in downtown Denver and the space occupied by the university on the adjacent, shared Auraria Higher Education Center (AHEC) Campus. The commericial properties are located at 1250 14th Street (UC Denver Building), 1380 Lawrence Street (Lawrence Street Center) and 1475 Lawrence Street (Lawrence Court). The AHEC Campus houses three institutions of Higher Education in Colorado. The Community College of Denver (CCD), the Metropolitan State College of Denver (MSCD), and the University of Colorado Denver. This unique partnership is the only one of its kind in the country. Located at the core of the City of Denver and the heart of the larger metropolitan area, the AHEC Campus occupies 126 acres.
