Black Student Services (BSS)
The Black Student Services assists students in all phases of their educational career while attending CU Denver trough a uniquely designed network of support services. Since its inception in 1969, Black Student Services has assisted hundreds of African American students with admissions for both undergraduate and graduate programs, academic counseling, and peer support services.
The program aims to increase numbers of African American students enrolled at CU Denver and assist our current students in having a positive academic experience. Black Student Services believe students should have a strong supportive environment while attending college so we subscribe to the concept of Jamaa II "a second family away from home".
Hispanic Student Services (HSS)
As an office, the Hispanic Student Services’ mission is to help students thrive here at CU Denver and beyond the university walls. With this aim, we have multiple programs, projects and opportunities that we are working to bring to campus. This webpage is designed to be a resource to learn more about these opportunities.
