Auraria Campus Diversity Career Networking Event

Contributing to a Diverse Workforce Discovering Unique Strengths

                                                    Tuesday, April 1, 2014
                                                       3:00 pm - 5:30 pm
                                                      Tivoli 320 A, B & C

900 Auraria Parkway, Denver, CO 80204

This FREE tri-institutional event (CU Denver, MSU and CCD) provides culturally diverse undergraduate and graduate students with an opportunity to capitalize and network with diverse business communities. Furthermore, students will learn about the skills, values, and attitudes one needs to succeed in a diverse workforce. Professional dress, an elevator speech and a business card are recommended.

The event will feature opening remarks by our honored guest, Mayor Hancock.  Our keynote speaker is Judge Kerry Hada, a Japanese-American Denver County court judge appointed by the Mayor in December 2008. Additionally, a professional career panel and a reception will provide professionals and students alike with opportunities to network during the event.

The primary goal is to help students discover how cultural background matters as they navigate career paths.
